Chinese Cosmetic Market is one of the most important markets in the world, and has been drastically changing day by day. On April 1, 2014, we set up Matsumoto Trading Shanghai Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China as our first overseas branch. Our important mission is to provide Chinese customers with highly unique products, formulation examples that meet consumers’ needs, and information on safety and efficacy. We will provide value-added information based on demand of Chinese customers by hearing customers voices carefully, and combine our knowledge, accumulated at Japanese cosmetic market. We would like to be the company that contributes our customers’ developments of cosmetics through daily marketing activities and various seminars to be held on a yearly basis.

As a source of cosmetic materials not only for Japan but also for the rest of the World

A large number of potential cosmetic materials exist in Japan and in the World. By offering those materials to our customers as early as possible, we would like to support activating Chinese cosmetic industry.
In addition, introducing Chinese originated materials to the world is also one of our important role. As a distributor, we also would like to support Chinese material industry.

Providing safety and efficacy data from our laboratory in Japan

We evaluate the efficacy data of raw materials independently by using various evaluation equipments in our laboratory in Japan and provide it to our customers.
